Do you want to learn Dutch?

Introductory meeting

All courses start with a free initial interview (about 30 minutes). During this meeting we get acquainted and establish what exactly you want to learn. Do not worry if that seems like a difficult question, we can help you determine the main focus of the course. Do you mainly want to speak Dutch or write Dutch? Maybe you want to improve all of your language skills or just focus on your vocabulary. Are you planning to take exams or are you trying to improve your Dutch for work or study? These kinds of questions will be adressed during the initial interview. We also discuss the best time to have lessons and how much time you have to do homework.

How much lessons Dutch will you need?

There is no one-size-fits-all. Some students learn much faster than others. It also depends on your goals, your level, how easily you pick up new subjects and how much time you have to spend weekly on homework. But if you really need an estimate… The usual indication is that raising your language skills one level takes twice as much time as the last level. For example: If it took you 100 hours to go from A1 to A2, then it will take you approximately 200 hours to go from A2 to B1 and another 400 hours to reach B2. For this you count every hour spent on your course, so not just the Dutch classes with your teacher, also the time spent on homework.

NB! This is just indicative. No rights can be derived from this example.

Learning the Dutch language at your own pace and level, in your own familiar environment with flexible, efficient and tailor-made private lessons? Yes… that is how easy learning a new language can be!

Dutch courses, what level?

LeSNT2 offers tailor made Dutch lesson plans. From A0 to C1 levels, we offer everyone the chance to succesfully complete a course. By means of a short intake interview we will determine what your goals are. After the intake we can offer you clear advice. And during the Dutch course we can always make adjustments to the lessons if necessary. That is the flexibility LeSNT2 has to offer!

Why choose LeSNT2?

LeSNT2 is flexible.

That means Dutch lesson plans can be adjusted rapidly if necessary. But we are flexible in scheduling, location and the amount of homework for students too. For example, we also teach Dutch on weekends and in the evening. And we do not charge for lessons canceled 24 hours in advance.

LeSNT2 is affordable.

The Dutch courses are more affordable than many other language schools. We do not employ any administrative staff. That helps keep our overhead costs low. And we focus on maintaining the high quality of our lessons. Private lessons cost €65,- per hour. De costs for group lessons are between €25,- and €30,- per person per hour.

LeSNT2 is experienced.

During our years of experience we have built up a huge amount of custom made teaching materials. That allows students to get extra practice with subjects they find difficult in the Dutch language. The exercises are regularly updated and digitalised. We make sure to have a lot of variation between exercises.

LeSNT2 is creative.

Dutch lessons are never boring. We do not rely on exercises in books, we also use puzzles, games, magazines and other materials adapted to our students interests. If a student wants more practice with a specific subject, we are always happy to create new exercises. The lessons are fun and full of laughter!

LeSNT2 is personal.

No individual is the same and no one learns in the same way. The methods, exercises and teaching style are always adapted to the particular students and their way of learning. Whether you prefer practical or theoretical, auditory or visual, individual or group lessons: at LeSNT2 we work for you.
